Outside the Box has teamed up with several organizations focused on helping those who lost instruments in the recent LA County wildfires. Current collaborations with OTB include: Altadena Musicians.org, LA Strong Foundation, and Musack.org.
Outside the Box is Giving the Gift of Music to Youth Impacted by the Wildfires
If you have instruments to donate, contact info@otbseries.com. We are setting up donation locations throughout Los Angeles County. Pick up is available in Orange County by one of our team members.
Community service projects for students in middle and high school are also underway. Students lead donation efforts at their schools, collecting instruments from their peers for distribution
to young fire victims.

ALTADENA MUSICIANS LAUNCHES REGISTRY TO HELP MUSICIANS REPLACE INSTRUMENTS LOST TO LA FIRES
Thousands of musicians across Los Angeles have lost their instruments, equipment, and cherished music collections to devastating wildfires. For artists, these are more than just tools — they are vessels of creativity, history, and inspiration.
In response, Altadena Musicians has launched a unique platform to help musicians recover: a registry where they can list the gear they lost, and donors can step in to replace it. Think of it like a wedding registry, but for rebuilding lives through music.
Outside the Box has partnered with Musack.org, who has been giving instruments and grants to music teachers and music programs throughout the world. We are now accepting requests to replace musical instruments and equipment lost in the LA County wild fires. Donated instruments will be available for kids, young adults, families, music programs and schools.
Please head over to the Musack form if you have a wish list.
